Knowing Alice for over 20 years, I had the privilege of seeing her grow as an artist and a human being. This show was a culmination of joy, sadness, honestly, reality and life all rolled up into a ball of amazing artistry. We watched someone who had to go through one of the most difficult things possible and have the courage to leave it all out on the field for us, as they say. She used her pain to create a very entertaining, poignant and thought provoking show that I'm still thinking about a week later. Alice Cutler has created a funny, moving show from a wealth of personal experience with infertility as well as the seldom discussed topic of abortion for medical reasons. Many, many women (and the partners of those women) can relate, but even those who, luckily, have had no such experience will laugh and cry as Alice takes them on her journey. ... full review

Alice knocked it out of the park in her solo show, INCONCEIVABLE. Her show struck the perfect balance of humor, vulnerability, depth, and education. I am someone immersed in politics and current events, so I was pleasantly surprised to learn things I did not know about a subject matter with which I was somewhat familiar. Having seen Alice's hilarious comedy routines, I wasn't quite sure what to expect from "Inconceivable," a show about her personal journey through infertility and pregnancy loss. What unfolded was an engrossing story that flipped through perfectly segued snippets & visuals of her life and the backstory leading up to dealing with unimaginable loss. Alice managed to take us through the highs and lows with laughter and rawness but just as my eyes would begin to well up, she would whisk us forward, not seeking pity but sharing a survivor's story that was both heartwarming and heartbreaking, engaging and relevant.
