This show was not only entertaining, but educational too…in all the right ways. Ariella was able to weave a tapestry of experiences into a one hour show. “Fat Girls Guide….” is an honest exploration that took me through a gamut of emotions. I laughed, I cried, I was uncomfortable, I was supported, it made me think, it made me remember my own hang-ps and childhood. I loved this show because a week later, I’m still thinking about the show, the message, and the stories Ariella told.
Ariella’s combination of humor, vulnerability, thoughtfulness, and passion make this show not only entertaining, but revolutionary. This show offers freedom through the subject matter as well as the atmosphere of love and acceptance created from the beginning of the show.
