After an award-winning tour (2018-2021) of her first solo show, ‘Wild At Hart: A Tale of Trauma & Triumph’, Kamakshi returned to the Hollywood Fringe Festival 2022 with her new play, ‘Resilient AF: Rising To The Occasion’, following its premiere at the inaugural Joshua Tree Solo Festival. She has just completed a successful local tour (Oct-Nov ‘22) as a featured performer at Corazon Performing Arts, Topanga Canyon, The Soaring Solo Stars Series at the Hudson Theatre, Hollywood and selected for Women’s Voices at Namba Performing Arts Space, Ventura, CA.
“As a result of the pandemic, trauma is centered in our world view in a way we could never have imagined”, says Hart. "I felt compelled to share more of my experiences transforming trauma personally and professionally. I was drawn to write about my abortions and wow, has that turned out to be timely! I now see that as a solo artist I’m also an activist and that’s a super power – needed now more than ever! And with that, Resilience as my Super Heroine was born.”
