It’s All a Joke is one of the most entertaining hours I’ve spent in the theater. It’s part standup, part characters, and a lot of laughs. Marissa does an excellent job of keeping the audience engaged as she navigates the apocalypse with a sense of humor. Underneath the laughs, there is a heartfelt, deeper message—when the world ends, what gifts do we share with each other? For Marissa, it’s laughter, the most healing gift of all.
Her talented husband, David Hardy, opens the show with his hilarious standup.
