Lemur Mom is a dynamic one person show written by and starring Megan Dolan. It is a special needs comedy that explores with warmth, humor, and brutal honesty, one mother’s adventures in autism.
Almost immediately after giving birth to her son, Megan has the distinct feeling that she’s not doing it right. As she navigates the treacherous world of support groups, child psychologists, and playdates for a child on the spectrum, making what feels like countless wrong turns along the way—she ultimately discovers that though she may feel she’s not the right mom, in reality, she’s exactly the right mom.
