I find the greatest challenge about writing and performing my own material is that I never trust that it’s done and I continue to second-guess and change it all the way right up to the performing it on stage. But I guess that’s the joy of doing a one-man show… you can’t screw up anybody else’s performance… phewf.

This incarnation of my solo show is a follow-up to a previous show, Another Divorced Dad in L.A. performed in 2022 at the Hollywood Fringe Festival. As I hope this will not be the last time I perform this version, I am taping in hope that I may be able to use a few moments of this evening’s performance to promote future bookings. I hope the camera in the house is not a distraction and thank you for your understanding.

My most heartfelt thanks to my friends Nate Aldrich, Joe Bacino, Mike Burdick, Liz Esquirol, Antoinette Westcott and Annie C. Wright, for their wonderful feedback and support.

But most importantly my utmost thanks to all of you who have come to the theatre this evening.  There are so many options for spending time, including my favorite pastime, just staying at home… so I can’t possibly express in words how grateful I am for your being here to support me.

Peace & Love,

Jonathan
