Searching For My Father – is Glen’s personal journey after the loss of his father at a young age and growing up searching through the lessons learned as a child to discovering his father’s personality ingrained within him. Beautifully told by Glen in this solo performance, his search leads us thru internal and emotional trials, from grade school to adulthood, and into his first marriage and birth of his only child. This story is told from memories and experiences, captured in this epic History.
Searching For My Father began through the creation and direction through Debra De Liso’s Solo Performance Playwriting and Performance Workshop in Fall 2010. Through her grounded focus to draw from pain, joy, and sorrow – an inspirational and true story emerged. With her help, Glen crafted his your story – not the one I wanted to write, but the one that was screaming from inside waiting to be heard.
Searching For My Father had is Los Angeles Premier on December 11, 2010 and World Premier at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, August 2019.
